The wave of cold continued throughout Punjab including Lahore, the number of pneumonia patients increased rapidly, more than two hundred citizens fell ill in twenty-four hours, Humabit reports.
The cold has increased, the diseases have also increased. The cold weather has increased the number of pneumonia patients in hospitals with flu, cough and fever, the victims of which are children and elderly people.
Mayo Hospital Emergency Duty Dr. Muhammad Shamim says that most of the patients reach the hospital in critical condition, twenty percent of the patients have increased this year from last year.
Two hundred and ten patients were reported throughout Punjab within twenty-four hours, while nine thousand and fifty patients have fallen victim to pneumonia so far this month.
